    noob needs help with pc gaming

    I went to the dell gaming forums with all those gaming chicks who are supposed to be experts and they wouldnt help me out. too cool for school i guess. anyway i really dont know anything about pc/notebook gaming. I have a dell inspiron 1520 capable of playing most games plenty of memory and such. I want to be able to use a console style controller/gamepad. I dont even know if this is possible but if it is which one should i get? And how do I set it up? Is it wireless? usb I figure? I am an idiot when it comes to pc gaming and i hate using the mouse keyboard style to play. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I hope this forum is not as snooty as those dell chicks, thanks for any help i can get.

    Xbox wired controller or wireless receiver if you already have wireless xbox 360 controllers.

    just buy an xbox wired controller and download the drivers for it. theres some program out there that makes it work with virtually all games.
