    ntune Monitor View and Control Panel clock speeds differ.

    So in my monitor view it's showing clock speed of 575/500, but I have my clock speeds set in my control panel at 475/400. Why do they differ?

    Using 8600GT

    The figure shown in the control panel would be the maximum state of the gpu. The stat shown in ntune is the current speed. The gpu is able to slow itself down when it is not needed to conserve power and run cooler.
