Has anybody used a numeric pad for laptop gaming instead of a keyboard!.I dont want to use my laptop key board and regular ones take up to much space.....just curious if they work good or not, thanks.

I did this a long time ago. I plugged in an external USB numeric keypad and was able to set the keys in the game I was playing to be 5
    123
Then you could use 4,6,7,8,9 for all the other controls.

For WoW I use my numpad for everything cept WASD and EQ. I do have the top numbers bound but they are rarely if ever used.

I'd like to see a stick for the left hand. It would be nice to have some analogous control, I mean, controling if you go faster or slower. AWSD is sort of all-nothing thing.

They have them at bestbuy. it's actually quite comfortable to use. I can't say about extended gaming though. I just fiddled with it for a few minutes in the store :p

I must say i could get used to this type of controller,so far ive played ut2004 with it and it feels so much better than full sized KB.Maybe down the road ill get some thing better....... :)

It's look more suitable for Sci-Fi Aircraft Simulator games controller.
