The 7150 is not out yet so no one knows at this point how it will perform.

From my quick Googling, the 7150 supposedly is out, but in preconfigured HP models only.

I'm guessing the 7150 would be better, as it is a dedicated GPU instead of an integrated graphics processor like the X3100.

The desktop 7150 is a card one buys rather than being integrated into the motherboard so I guess it'll be dedicated on laptops too...

As soon as I have reliable gaming benchmarks I will add the Nvidia 7150 to the chart.
The Nvidia 6150 was an excellent integrated card and I imagine the 7150 is an improvement so I'd get that. It will probably be better for gaming because it should be compatible with more games than the Intel chip.

I hope there isn't a discrete desktop 7150 part otherwise nVidia is going to have product overlap. The 7150 is going to be a new desktop IGP nVidia is launching for Intel processors in September along with the 7050. AMD platform IGPs consist of the 7050 and 7025 so hopefully the Intel platform 7150 is actually a new part rather than a renamed AMD platform 7050. The desktop 7150 is supposed to be competing with Intel's upcoming G35 chipset and GMA X3500 likely also launching in September. I wouldn't be surprised if the 7150 is faster due to drivers even though the GMA X3500's 10 unified shaders and 667MHz clock speed seem impressive.

There is a mobile 7150M but it's for AMD processors only and presumably related to the AMD desktop 7050.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/mobogpu_nb_7series_specs.html

If it has 4PS, 2VS combined with the quoted 425MHz clock (shaders likely clocked higher) it'll definitely be faster than the GMA X3100 which is 8 scalar unified shaders at 500MHz. If it's a 2PS, 1VS architecture than it won't be.

However, assuming the 7150M is related to the desktop 7050 it may not be that good.

Even the G33 chipset with the GMA 3100 (no "X") and no hardware VS and T&L manages to beat the 7050, although I get the feeling that it's more a testament of the power of Intel's CPU and that Intel heavily optimized the drivers for Doom 3 since it's a common benchmark. The 7050 gets a 292 in 3DMark06, compared to 197 for the 6150, and 241 for the GMA 3100 (no "X").

Doesn't really tell you much but from the 3DMarks it's safe to assume the 7150 will be faster than the 6150, but I would think real world gain is more like 20-25% rather than the 50% from 3DMark06. Don't know how the GMA X3100 will compare though since I haven't seen any decent benchmarks with the recent 14.31 drivers finally enabling hardware DX9.0c SM3.0 acceleration.
