    Hi:

i have a hp pavillion dv6500t with nvidia 8400m gs graphics card.
my tv is a sony 57" projection hdtv.

i'm using an hdmi to dvi cable to connect my laptop to the tv.
the picture quality is great, everything looks fine except for the fact that there is an annoying overscan problem; therefore i cannot see the sidebar or or the windows taskbar.

i tried updating the nvidia driver, using powerstrip... etc
there seems to be no way to underscan!!

does anyone seem to have the solution to this problem?
