my friend got a dell 6400 with an ati x1400 in it and i bought an ASUS F3SV-A1 with an NVIDIA 8600 in it, which video card is better? i really dont know anything about the ati cards, im pretty good with the nvidia cards though (in knowledge terms)

everything else in his laptop is nothing compared to mine though :D (he has a core duo and i have an intel pro :p) and i have more ram and stuff, so mine should outperform his anyway, but i want the bragging rights here :D

Your card is better. Depends a bit on version but something like 3-5 times better.

um no its not, doesnt mean it cant play the latest games tho

but on the other hand looking at how bad dx10 is performing with vista, a dx9 capable card aint so bad ;)
