I wasn't able to find out the difference, even on Nvidia's site... :(

Does anyone know which is the better card?

What the heck? Sorry Nirvana, that makes no sense at all. Not much sleep lately eh? =P What IS all over the Sager forum though, is 9800M GTX > 9800M GT ~= 8800M GTX > 9800M GTS

How can 9800m gtx < 9800m gtx? Also, there's no such thing as an 8800m gt.

So... how much better is the 9800M GTX than the 9800M GT? Is it worth a $365 upgrade?

No, unless you do have the budget and don't care.

Ah, yeah, just found some benchmark stats:

As much as I'd love to drop $300+ on a 0.6% fps increase, I think my wallet would like me not to.

Based on those benchmarks ... it seems pointless to have a 9800m GTS and a 9800m GT ... really.

more like the other way around if you consider the prices. GTX is pointless.

If I read your statement correctly, you're trying to say that you don't understand why Nvidia put out two cards that are so close in performance. If so I'd agree, but I've been told to take Noteboockcheck's benchmarks with a grain of salt.

yes Ive seen these benchmarks about a week ago and am not necessarily sold on them either. I bought my NP5796 with the 9800m GT cause I didnt want to spend another 400 on a videocard we dont know much about and if it provides a miraculous increase maybe ill just upgrade, but honestly i doubt the gtx outperforms the gt by more than 5-10% and IMO thats not worth 400 bones.

Ya, that's what I'm saying is that they are pretty much releasing 2 versions of the same card ... based on those benchmarks.
