    nvidia driver question

    I'm seeing that lot of people on these threads are using the 81.97 drivers that allow for an "optimal" overclock to be performed. I recently updated my drivers to the 83.2 drivers and I don't see this option. Here are my questions:

    1. What are the differences between these drivers and...
    2. Is it even safe to overclock my GeForce 7800? If set on the "optimal" setting, is there danger of overheating? I've heard Dell severaly underclocks their cards, so I'm not sure if overclocking would hurt my system, or just bring me up to the speed the card should be working at in the first place
