I have a geforce go 7950gtx the system came with the 101.29 forceware and when i try to download the beta drive from nvidia site forceware 162.22 for windows vista 32 bit during installation it says not compatible or doesnt work etc.. Why? I have windows vista home premium by the way and an alienware m9750 if that helps.

First, the obvious answer could be "because it's a beta driver".
Second, which error do you get? Does it say it is not compatible? Does it say it doesn't work? Or anything else?

It's hard to tell you what causes the problem, when you don't say what the problem is. :)

if its anything like my 8600 you need to go to laptopvideo2go.com and get the drivers there, nvidia makes theirs for desktop models and not notebooks :(

EDIT: aww i was beat in posting :(

DOwnload the driver, download the modded INF file, extract the driver and then copy the new INF file to the main driver folder. Replace the old INF and then run the setup, should work fine after that.
