im deciding between the acer 5739g, which has the nvidia gt 130m, but is 1gb dedicated ddr2, and the toshiba satellite a505 s6969, which is 1gb dedicated ddr3.

both are the same price ($799 off newegg), but the toshiba is slightly bigger and heavier than the acer, but im guessing the 4650 is better than the gt 130m? any ideas? i want to play call of duty 4 on high settings preferably, and fluently

The GT130M has GDDR2, as you state. The 4650 has GDDR3, as you state.

    Go for the 4650. :)

lol thanks guys, im guessing the 4650 just about edges it :p

so the toshiba overall, with the processor it has, should be able to run cod4 on high settings fairly fluently?
