    can a nvidia go 7400 supporting 256mb vram handle doom 3 in mid settings?

    oh i see. nice Mobile Graphics Card Comparison Chart :) do you know how much dedicated memory is present in the nvidia geforce go 7400 supporting 256mb? is it 32mb or 64mb dedicated video memory? :)

    Well, some notebooks are different than others. Which notebook?

    I understand where you are confused about the video memory though - I get caught up too sometimes. It's really just a move by the manufacturers to think you are getting more than you really are. Remember - shared memory is in no way a replacement of compensation for dedicated memory. The minimum I would go with these days as far as gaming is 128MB dedicated.
