I am going to college this fall and am planning on buying a latitude D830 2.2 ghz 2gb ram. I am going to be majoring in mechanical engineering and would like to utilize my notebook for CAD programs. which card should I get the 140m (256mb) or the 135m (128mb) will either of these work? is it worth it to get the more expensive 140m?

I think the 140m is worth the extra $30.

I do not know. The T61p will offer a better video card, but it will be more expensive too.
