It was scaring the hell put of me the first few times I played it. But now it's like, I walk through the level, a zombie thing pops out, I shoot it, rinse repeat. It's not like the thing is going to pop out the mofo screen and eat me.![]()
but if I play it alone at night with my sennheiser hd600 headphones.......ooo![]()

Your lost ! Don't know who you are or where you are. Walk around a corner and see a guy standing there, beating his head against the wall, just the beginning !

Guys if u dont mind the dated graphics then try aliens vs predator 2 on the pc play as the human soldier. It is so scarry and atmospheric but play at night or dark room with head phones. The strobing lights and the motion sensor add to the effect, try it if u dare

But the story...'Mother'...the bugs...I didn't get scared playing the game...but those were some messed up dreams later on that night...
It's been almost 10 years since I've played it and the story still sticks with me...
I think there was another thread with Doom 3 vs F.E.A.R....I chose Doom 3...
And Eternal Darkness is one of the best action/adventure games (actually, one of the best games, period) for the Gamecube...one of the reasons I still leave my Gamecube connected to my entertainment system... -
Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
Yes, Eternal Darkness, i beat myself up everyday when i think of the fact that somehow i missed that game. Its too bad the studio that makes it isnt working exclusively with nintendo anymore.
