4gig ram
8800 gtx or something like that
any help would be great

Yeah you can run like 50 Everquests maxed at the same time.
However, no one plays Everquest anymore i suggest getting Everquest 2 you can max that game as well. -
Why don't you install it and see for yourself? You should be able to max everything.
-
oh ok thanks alot, i didnt installed it first, because i dont have the disks anymore, so when i got the patcher, it was like 27 hours of stuff to download.
thanks for your help guys -
I am in complete disbelief that anyone would buy an M15x and not play ANY games on it... Buying something like that would have taken research, since you have to order them..

He might want it for CAD or 3D modeling. Or the bright, colourful LEDs.

my sister is a sound engineer, she studies in berklee and a friend of her suggested 2 options, one was a mac book pro, the other was the m15x alienware laptop, she chose the latter, so my father got one for her and one for me, i really dont use much this laptop but for school purposes, i seldom have time as i am a med student

Lucky guy (or girl. Caught myself prejudging. Go me!)
Anyway, the Alienware is a gaming laptop, it'll run pretty much whatever you throw at it with very decent settings. Just keep an eye on the temperature. M15Xes tend to run hot.
If you're into RPGs, may I suggest you look into Fallout 3? I'm very psyched about that game: the setting looks great, the gameplay sounds satisfying, plenty of character customization (especially with beards), good first impressions. Definitely give the trailer a peek. -
If your still looking to see if you can run it, or any other game, look here:
