ok I have seen articles on this is magazines and even once came across a website that listed a bunch of links to download patches and a bunch of articles of how to do it yourself. but I don't remember the site. does anyone have any links to do this for games?

I already did this mod and am looking to squeeze out a little more power from my cpu. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=60416

There are very few games that have dual-core support right now, but I imagine that future games coming out will have it. You can't do anything to the game if there isn't a patch that will make it use both cores.

Remember that in most cases, the GPU is the bottleneck and not the CPU.
