Origin is now doing online game demos. its the same system as onlive gaming where you play through an internet stream. this is a great use for this type of gaming infrustructure. its fast to start the demo, no downloading and installing, and it doesn't need to be fast, just enough to get the jest of the game.

Wow this is pretty neat. I am trying crysis 2 right now...

Yea its pretty cool having the demos like that. I played Crysis 2 in standard def. and it run pretty smooth although it lag at times but for the most part it was playable.

are the demos time limited as in onlive, or feature limited, as in most traditional demos?
also, can't find the "Go" button. little help? -
there is a 30 minute time limit for games on Gaika. If you can't get it working on Origin's site, I would just go straight to Gaikia.com
It does require java, so make sure everything isn't completely disabled. -
My Norwegian Origin store doesent have the stream demo feature but i see it added a new tab with including demos and free games.
-
ok you got me technically its called play instantly.

Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST
That was the issue for me in chrome. I set the Origin domain as safe and now they show up. I just got done trying Dragon Age 2. I just wish you could mess with the video settings.
