    Hello,
I have dell xps m1530 with 8600m GT, i overclocked it to 596/880. BUT, no matter whith what program i check my Hz its showing strange things..like 160/300, sometimes its changing to the one i overclocked(596/880)..and different varieties...I tried using ntune and rivatuner - same strange changings..Whats happening? Something auto controling my Hz?

It's completely normal. The overclocked speeds are only used when needed for 3D stuff like games. The card underclocks itself for normal 2D stuff and low power 3d stuff.

Yes,the card will stay OCed only when doing 3D apps,as Games. Don't worry.
Just make sure you always monitor the temps and that they don't go above 80-85C.
