    hi all,

i am currently worried about an issue and would like some clarity on it. would appreciate any help.

    I'm using an Asus G1S, with laptopvideo2go 163.67 drivers.
I recently installed riva tuner and tried to overclock it, but it didn't seem to have any effect.

As such, i uninstalled riva tuner.

Now i have a few questions. I know overclocking may damage a computer, so after i uninstall riva tuner , will my overclcoking go away? i want my computer to run at normal settings.. Please... any help or advice will be appreciated.

Look down a few threads, or type "overclocking" into the search bar, and you'll realize that you didn't really have to make this thread...

I'm not trying to overclock it. I just want to know if uninstalling riva tuner will make sure it stays clocked normally. I don't think it even overclocked in the first place. Thats what i'm trying to ask haha, not how to overclock

Riva tuner loads the overclock only when it is turned on or is set to do so at computer startup. Uninstalling Riva will definately make sure everything gets set back to normal, although all you needed to do was restart the computer.

Besides, from what I understand, it isn't even possible to overclock with 16X.XX drivers. You couldn't have OCed it, even if you wanted.
