    patch not working

    i tried downloading a patch for airport tycoon 3..it goes into the installshield setup and then i get a 1628:failed to complete installation error message. is there anyway to fix this?

    Have you tried Googling that error message? It might be an issue with Vista if that is an older game.

    okay well i got that error message fixed..but now i get this 1607: unable to install installshield scripting runtime
    could it be something ccleaner could have deleted from the registry or something?
    b/c i know when i ran Ccleaner earlier it had a bunch of .net framework stuff on it..and i think script stuff on it too..
    is there anyway to fix this w/o having to reinstall my OS
