    hi guys,
hoping you all can give me some advice regarding a problem that has started raring its head the past week.

when i play some games i get a hard freeze, i recently reinstalled Battlefield 1, and a mate wanted to play pubg again so i installed this too.

playing both of these games for anywhere from 10-30mins results in a hard freeze, as far as i can see the games responses stop, sounds stop and then the game completely freezes requiring me to hard reset my pc.

i have uninstalled both games and reinstalled, ive updated my gpu drivers, using HWmonitor temps for the cpu are in the high 60's early 70's (c) and the gpu doesn't reach 75 (c).

playing GTA V the pc runs flawlessly, playing hollow knight, cuphead, gwent etc all run fine.

really not sure what i need to be looking at the fix this issue, any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think either the most recent Windows update or the most recent nVidia drivers have caused me to start seeing DPC Watchdog Violation BSOD's. ONE of them is pointing at the nVidia drivers, but that doesn't 100% mean that was the change that caused it.. The most recent one does not.. Occam's Razor would say yes.. . I have gotten two of them playing Wolf2 where that never happened before. I haven't tried to get to the bottom of it yet.

I think it was probably the most recent Windows Update since it's not ALWAYS the nVidia driver. But I was dealing with this previously and fixed it (I thought) by uninstalling one of the MSI tools. It stopped happening for the longest time and only started up again after those two updates.

so you are suggesting its a likely windows 10 issue and as such there is nothing i can do to fix this issue? if so this is a huge problem, not being able to use the pc for one of its designed tasks seems like a huge blunder.
still looking for any suggestions and or ideas to help with this issue.
