    pcie bus width problem

    Hello all,pls help me on problem...I got pcie bus width problem.My specs are...Alienware m18xr1 intel HM67 chipset,ddr3 1600mhz,i7 2960xm and gtx780m 4gb vram....problem is...gpuz shows that my card is capable at pcie 2.0 x16(but really also 3.0)but i got pcie 2.0 x16@x4 2.0....after that i cleaned both pcie slot and card and after that i got gpuz readings pcie 2.0 x16@x8 2.0..why not @x16???i got single card.that shows on stock vbios and with svl7 modded vbios and on stock a05 and unlocked a05.Pls help!!!

    The CPU has 16x PCI express lanes, since it's a dual card machine 8 go to each GPU slot. There is no performance impact from 8x vs 16x anyway for a single card.

    ok,thx..but i was seeing x16 on the same systems to another people.but if in bios is second emtpy pcie slot disabled,than why cpu didnt support all x16 to single gpu?Or am i totally wrong?
