i was wondering if there are any "legal" way of playing a game without it cd. I have battlefield 2 recently and i want to play it without putting my cd in each time and i always forget to bring it when i go somewhere with my laptop.

You are going to need to make an ISO file and mount that. I had a program that made ISOs but I forgot what it was. :p This would probably work. Then you will need to mount that image. I recommend Alcohol 120%. There are other programs that can do this as well.

    Check out:

I own all of my games, but it is VERY annoying to bust out the disc whenever you want to game, so these NO-CD/DVD cracks are legitimate.

I am glad that some games out there actually have an official update with NO-CD/DVD feature.... the Unreal Tournament series is great for that. :)

I know that Nero will make a readable disc image for Daemon Tools, as will many other programs. Basically, anything that will make a disc image will work with Daemon Tools.

for the no-cd/dvd crack, i was wondering if it'll work if i use that to play bf2 expension and bf2 mods like "project reality".

It should, I have had a lot of luck getting the no-cd cracks to work in the past-my cd drive is a tiny bit finicky so its useful. But I had all sorts of mods with Empire at War when I briefly played it and it worked fine with the no-cd.

you might as well be better of just using a crack or daemon tools....
