im new to this overclocking thing and i've been reading around for about 4 hours. and i have some questions

it seems the highest clocking people have gotten is around 600 to 650 core, and 500 to 700 memory. i think the memory has something to do with ddr2 and gddr3, im pretty sure mine is ddr2.

but i was wondering what the best video card driver is for my graphics card, cus there is a lot to choose from and a lot of people saying different ones are the best

and also what would you recommend or what from experience is the best core/memory clock speeds.

    thanks

I don't know about overclocking but for my HP dv6519tx the best driver I've found is the 156.83 from laptopvideo2go.

650 core is really not possible... It tops out at 600.. I have run up to 820 mem...

Apparently if you use Ntune you can go higher than 600mhz but i dont recommend you do.. 600 is already 50% increased core clocks

475 was the MAX for Core for me , higher then that it would crash my system ..

As far as driver i would suggest you try a couple of different driver and do some benchmark and that way you'll know wich one is the best for you ..
