The 9800M GTX will be 15 - 20% better than the 9800M GS, and will be 10 - 15% better than the 9800M GT.

those are quite old cards...but the 9800M GTX has 2 times the shaders and higher clockspeed then 9800M GS and 9800MGT has 1.5 times the shaders as 9800M GS... basically 9800M GTX is the fastest but if i were u , i'd look out for a GTX260M or GTX280M... beats all of these cards and if u can wait , get a laptop with ATI 5000 series cards... DirectX 11 and can pwen these NVDIA cards...

9800M GS is a rebranded 8800M GTS and 9800M GT is a rebranded 8800M GTX so not so much.

Same here. I'm going to try and keep this laptop for at least another year before I start looking for a new one.

Haha yeah I have a x9000 on the way. I know I went a little overboard with my purchase but it's worth it to me. I've never had a CPU over 2.0 ghz so it should be nice.
