My FPS almost doubled after doing this. Its a quick fix until the game is patched.

    1) Go to your NVIDIA control panel.

    2) Click on ] Manage 3D Settings

    3) Then Program Settings

    4) Click on ADD, and add Middle-Earth: Shadow of Modor.

    5) Scroll down and click on SLI Rendering Mode [/U], change to Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2.

    6) Click on Apply. and done.

Easy fix. Nice. I read there is also a Fear compatibility bits method too.

The F.E.A.R. 3 and Batman: Arkham Origins SLI profiles cause flickering artifacts. Force AFR2 is the best solution, for now.

One of these days I want to see a game that needs me to force AFR 1. ONE OF THESE DAYS.

Good that it works. My experience with AFR has been pretty bad for most games though. Hopefully they make it work with a patch soon. I thought the difference between AFR and AFR2 was just which card had even and which had odd frames. I can't find any good explanation at nVidia's site though.

Yes that is correct. Some games don't care, but generally AFR2 seems to work more often than AFR1 for games which don't already have an SLI profile.
