I'm not sure how demanding rFactor (racing simulation) is compared to some other games and I am curious what sort of notebook specs I would need to run this game at high resolutions (1920x1080) and at medium to high settings. The rFactor "engine" is a several years old, I'm interested in playing the F1 and CCWS addons.

Can anyone fill me in on their setup and how rFactor preforms on their machine?

    Thanks!

Do you know how it compares to Live For Speed? Im pretty sure they are similar in demand. On my laptop (specs below) it runs between 90-100fps consistently ;P

    1.66ghz C2D
    1440x900
    2gb Ram
    8600m GT

rFactor runs absolutely fine on my laptop.
Resolution at 1280X800, everything high, I get around 25~35 FPS depends on the tracks, very smooth.

So pretty much any dedicated chip will run the game great, and even possibly some integrated chips
