when i play games like css and warhammer my card sometimes will stutter for a bit and pause so i decided to investigate. It appears that the card for some reason decides to downclock its self a fair bit. This cant be heat related as it just did it after about 10 secounds of css. anyone got any ideas i have a m1530 8600m gt and run vista. my drivers are 178.15.

But if there is a problem with your GPU (if you keep getting this issue) it would be stupid to keep your notebook with the problem.. let Dell repair it.
There is also something wrong with my 8600M GT and I also need my laptop every day but you can't keep using your notebook with a defective GPU in it right..
