Get Ocarina of Time (Master quest if avaible) and you won't regret it 1 second. This game was choosen as the best game of all time and it is the best RPG in my opinion.
No bugs at all, no glitches, great graphics for N64 at that time and what a game play.

Try to get a copy of Perfect Dark. That was a great game, and in fact, I think its one of the best FPS games I've ever played. (Not including Deus Ex, which is perhaps the best game I've ever played)
-
Goldeneye Goldeneye Goldeneye, the one and only and best N64 game ever.
-
Duke Nukem & Blitz (the original)
-
Mario Kart and Mario Party. Great when you have mates round!
-
Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, the two best FPS games on a home console at the time apart from MOH on the Psx. Multiplayer in particular is practically unbeatable to this very day....
Unfortunately I was never an RPG fan or even really a fan of anything in particular outside of the staple action/FPS genere, but I do remember of course Zelda and Jet Force Gemini were two of the more talked about ones.
Super Smash Bros. was an absolutely brilliant multiplayer game as well. -
Goldeneye/Perfect Dark, Mario Party no doubt the best MP games ever.

LOL. Alright I'll try to get all of them. I'm defintely going to get some of the ones that people suggested that are good for multiplayer and party times.
-
Don't forget about Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rare's last title for Nintendo before jumping ship to Microsoft. Plenty of laugh out loud moments in that one...

For a penny, get as many as you can. I went to a gamestore one time and they were selling NES games that were in mint condition with boxes and everything for real cheap, although not as cheap as a penny. I picked up 8 of them, and I wish I would have picked up more. For a penny you can't go wrong.

I was wondering if there are any good airplane multiplayer games that were for n64? Something on the lines maybe a helicopter? My brother likes airplane games and it'll be cool if we can play something on the lines like that.
-
haha 1 cent? that rocks you lucky bum, i would get mario cart and the zelda games, sweet games. Mario cart is so much fun and also i hear super smash bros is fun.
Why dont you just buy all of them? 1 cent each i know i would...
hehe then sell them for 10 cents each and make a profit of 10x! ha.... -
ya i would get goldeneye, zelda, and smash brothers. A lot of poeple still play the smashbrothers from the n64.
-
smash bros, zelda, donkey kong, banjo kazooie/tooie, goldeneye, mario kart, mario 64, theres just too many to name. that console was the greatest of all time easily.

Here's a list of free, downloadable games and a number of the ones you mentioned are listed (Zelda, Duke Nukem and some others):

This link is to a list of free game download sites. With a little digging you can turn up quite a bit of the older games that are now free or abandonware:

Star Fox 64 was good. I do have an actually flight simulator I played for Nentindo 64, at the time it was pretty good. It's called AeroFighters Assult.

YESSS goldeneye 007 ftmfw!!
-
If they're 1 cent each, just grab 100. That way, you can't go wrong!
-
100? Grab them all and sell on ebay. make a fortune!
If you grab the $40 rare ones, you're on your way up!
You could make like $500 if your lucky. -
who buys roms
-
i don't think anyone does... but for legal reasons here i post that
-
Also the person who posted the emulator and roms thing, it is sorta illegal to downloaded games that you don't have. Besides, I think I prefer playing the games on the controller instead on the keyboard. The buttons are easier to use that way. -
Starfox was a awsome flying game back in the day. Goldeneye was awsome remember palying that. How i miss the n64 days.

the golden gun >*

WinBack and Gauntlet Legends take the cake here

Just remembered another one... Fighter's Destiny, quite possibly the best beat-em-up available for the N64.
remembering the good n64 games
