    hello everyone.

    I am planning to buy either and xps m1330 or a 1420... blah blah you know the deal. on both machines i will max them out in customization aka 2.2 ghz duo, 128 mb geforce 8400, 2 gigs. Now when people are showing how games run on these laptops in the reviews they always pick FPS games! and im all about RTS. does anyone with these laptops or experience with them play Company of Heroes or Warcraft 3 : Frozen throne ( shhhh secret addiction).

    i ask this question because FPS and RTS are somewhat different and RTS sometimes is more demandind and sometimes it isnt. it all depends.

    warcraft 3 FT will run on a potato salad.... Blizzard is good pulling these things off!

    supreme commander is the only rts you might have problems with. All others including new ones like C&C3 will run good.

    yeah you are right. but im just worried about running rise of legends and company of heroes. oh and maybe some comand and conquer 3,

    Almost all of them will run on high. Company of heroes you may have to tone down a bit though.
