Next time please use periods. Nice second post, but that is the longest run-on sentence I have ever read.

Ummm those are some generous FPS numbers you have there.

I have the same system as you, and even with my overclock (~4200 in 3dMark06) with Crysis at 1280x800, all medium, I don't break 30 FPS with any consistency. In fact with Fraps' min/max/avg benchmark I averaged in the low/mid 20's.

He said no shadows , which is believable. Turning off the advanced effects I got decent 30+ fps.

Can you run Crysis benchmark (and post a screenshot):
    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1791
    at those settings:
because I'm getting lower FPS at 1280x720 same settings on GF 8800M GTS (score 7049 in 3DMark06).
    Which is at least...strange.

Please use sentence structure when typing on the forum.

If nothing else, do it because it is very difficult to understand your writing otherwise.

Yes, please do. NBR is not a IM messenger so you have time to add punctuation etc(it doesn't have to be perfect-at least break it up into multiple paragraph so it doesnt look like a block of text).

    Also, please stay on topic.

...but not with everything else on high. It's just not possible with that card.

Those are desktop cards and they're not even breaking 20 FPS on high settings at 1024x768. There's simply no way the OP is getting close to the FPS he's claiming at 1280x800 on all high but shadows.

is your card too fast or my 8800m GTX too slow? I ran the crysis benchmark and got 40.32fps, all max, low on shadows, 1280x960

Hmm I think you are getting some bad results there nirvana based on what I am getting on my 8600m GT which is about the the same 20~ fps

Should be a huge performance increase right?

I ran the Crysis benchmark at 1024x768, and at max settings I was barely pulling double digit framerates (maybe 15FPS at best?), even with my GPU oc'ed. I believe yours are fine.

Mine is only playable with settings at medium and then i'll start getting 30FPS.
