What are the real differences between these, and which you recommend strictly for gaming (it's for a Dell XPS 1530):

High definition sound 2.0 (the basic one) vs. "Sound Blaster Audigy HD"

    and

*Glossy, widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1280x800)
*High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1440x900)
*High Resolution glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1680x1050)
*Full Hi Definition, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1920x1200)

    thanks in advance!

The m1530 has what, the gddr3 8600m right? That pretty much maxes itself out at 1680x1050. The sound blaster audigy hd is just software optimizations.

What does that mean? Will it make a significant difference? Is there a difference btw those two if I use headphones?

    thanks for your reply.

I don't know how much the quality difference is with the software, thats why i didn't go on. I thinks its just something you need to test for yourself to make any conclusions, becasue to some people there is no difference, while to others there is.

    For gaming i think:

*Glossy, widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1280x800)
*High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1440x900)

Firstly because i love glossy screens as my laptop is mostly indoors (i assume since you are gaming it will be used indoors as well). Secondly if you use lower resolutions, when you game i doubt you will want to use very high resolutions as it will make your game laggy, so going with a lower resolution with give you a more "natural" resolution while gaming.
