    seeking help for aspect ratio problem

    i have lenovo g570 laptop with ati 1gb hd 6370m graphic card, i tried to play some games on it but it run with black strip on either side. also some videos and some websites appears on centre only, what should i do

    Have you tried changing the screen resolution from within the game? Also, there should be an aspect ratio option inside catalyst control center.

    guess its the same as nvidia as you have to change it to full screen each time you update the graphics drivers.
    go into ati control panel and look for aspect ratio or full screen mode.

    I had this too. It's caused by a combination of Windows 7 and Nvidia Control Panel.

    Open up Nvidia Control Panel
    Under Display -> Adjust desktop size and position
    Select "full-screen" as the scaling mode.

    Now it won't have black bars when you select a non-aspect ratio resolution.

    FAIL. Just saw this is for ATI. Same sort of problem, but you need to google the ATI solution, it will be in CCC.

    no i didnt found aspect ratio option in catalyst control center
