is there any program/emulator that exists that allows a person to play ps2/ps3 or xbox/360 games on a laptop?

I think there probably is, but I'm not sure what the forum rules are on talking about stuff like this so I'm not gonna research it for ya. Sorry!
-
Yes, but illegal/only legal if you own the game/you'll get sued.

In the link above it states that:
"Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy for illegal activity being discussed."
So anyone who posts below me be warned that you should not talk of any illegal programs. I'm not trying to be overly uptight here just trying to watch out for everyone... -
NO.
a)None Exist
b)Even if they do exist, most laptops wont be able to play em.
there is GC,NDS,GBA,GBC,N64,PSP though...... -
Its not illegal to talk about it. Giving the illegal download links is, however.
-
there are emulators for PC2 and xbox. just buy the PC version anyway.
-
i don't think it is unless it falls under this:
Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy for illegal activity being discussed.
so i dunno, i just wanted to know if i could use my laptop to play Armored Core 4 and a couple other games. but since they were never designed for a comp yet i wasn't sure if it could be done or if ike i asked if there were emulators or programs that allowed one to. -
Discussion = talk about it....
Can't talk about it, but if you OWN the game, then great! -

You're right. It's not illegal, it's just against the forums rules... -
of course i'd by the game i just don't want to dish out another 300 bucks (USD) for a system just for a couple games, i mean if you can use a comp for it go for it, but if its illegal i'll avoid it.
-
to my knowledge the armored core series isn't on the pc

I understand where you're coming from completely! For me it's just not worth the $$$ to buy a system that I still won't spend as much time with as my PC. >.< lol -
i know right, so i want to know if i could run the armored core series (including 4 for the ps3) and a maybe anyother good game that comes out through a laptop saving the data to an external hard drive, but oh well i guess.
-
You wont be able to play it i think...
my m57ru can emulate the SSBM on GC at playble speeds....
ANd thats its max...
The PS2 emulators are also not as good as Dolphin GC emus -
Google pcsx2, no clue for the Xbox.
-
thanks for the info
-
I think PS2 emulators can actually play games these days.
It's kind of sad though, Emu Devs are so much lazier than they used to be. -
um if you know a bit about laptops could you look at my other topic about purchashing one of the 2 and add your input, please.
were could i get the ps2 emulator? -
Are you talking about ps2 or 3 here? You can get a ps2 dirt cheap and not have to deal with a glitchy emu; if you are talking ps3 then you are out of luck since no laptop is going to have the power to run ps3 emulation.

Exactly. Used PS2s can be had for about $80 or so, a little bit more if you want some games with them. If you want a PS3, then start saving your money. There still seem to be quite a few fully backward compatible PS3s on eBay. You may want to try there, as then you'll be able to run any Playstation game on it.
serious question
