Yes, but illegal/only legal if you own the game/you'll get sued.

In the link above it states that:
"Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy for illegal activity being discussed."
So anyone who posts below me be warned that you should not talk of any illegal programs. I'm not trying to be overly uptight here just trying to watch out for everyone...

Its not illegal to talk about it. Giving the illegal download links is, however.

i don't think it is unless it falls under this:
Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy for illegal activity being discussed.
so i dunno, i just wanted to know if i could use my laptop to play Armored Core 4 and a couple other games. but since they were never designed for a comp yet i wasn't sure if it could be done or if ike i asked if there were emulators or programs that allowed one to.

of course i'd by the game i just don't want to dish out another 300 bucks (USD) for a system just for a couple games, i mean if you can use a comp for it go for it, but if its illegal i'll avoid it.

I understand where you're coming from completely! For me it's just not worth the $$$ to buy a system that I still won't spend as much time with as my PC. >.< lol

I think PS2 emulators can actually play games these days.

It's kind of sad though, Emu Devs are so much lazier than they used to be.

Are you talking about ps2 or 3 here? You can get a ps2 dirt cheap and not have to deal with a glitchy emu; if you are talking ps3 then you are out of luck since no laptop is going to have the power to run ps3 emulation.

Exactly. Used PS2s can be had for about $80 or so, a little bit more if you want some games with them. If you want a PS3, then start saving your money. There still seem to be quite a few fully backward compatible PS3s on eBay. You may want to try there, as then you'll be able to run any Playstation game on it.
