I want to enable AA and AF in CS but cant find the options in game. I thought I'd make a profile for it using the NVidia control panel. I cant select CS as it launches through steam! How do i make a profile for it?

    Thanks.

cs 1.6 or cs source? In source, go to the video tab under options, then click advanced. There is no option for AA and AF in 1.6 because it was made a long time ago and the graphics are weak.

That's weird, pretty much every bundle with HL2 includes CS:S as far as I know. Steam bug maybe? CS:S was always sorta a throw in when you bought HL2.

You should send an email to steam letting them know.

I may have heard word that the new nvidia drivers dont allow individual game profiles anymore, you have to force it for all games via advanced properties under you nvidia control panel (advanced display properties in your control panel)

If it is still there tho, you will see a game profiles area where you can manually set things for each game and set it from "application controlled" to "forced" somthing along those lines and the video card will manually run the settings you choose for that game profile or for your overall hardware profile.

Somtimes forcing things with games that dont support it can have undesired effects tho.
