    should i let my card blow up before calling dell

    well its started,the card as been artifacting with my cool pad on and no over clocking. i turned the game off before any real damage happens and as my warrenty will run out in a couple of months i am thinking of just turning the cool pad off and game until it fizzs out oh its a 8600gt. :(

    Dell was happy to send me a new hard drive before the one I had actually failed completely, all I had to do was explain how I had diagnosed that it was failing even though it technically still worked. They even sent me the new one before making me send the failing one back so that I could backup all my data easily.

    Was it just a single game? Maybe it's a driver issue? Maybe the temperature is high?
