    You should be able to handle sims 2 on low/medium settings, the problems will come when you install a lot of expansions which can slow things, especially loading.

    That laptop meets minimum requirements for the base game through the University expansion. It does not meet requirements for later expansions due to the integrated graphics, which require a stronger processor to compensate. You will be fine for the base game. Even though it doesn't technically meet requirements, if you turn settings down and don't install cc you will prob be okay through OFB. Wouldn't recommend anything beyond that. Bon Voyage + is definitely out, as the latest 3 expansions are a ton more demanding.
