    On low settings and low resolution maybe. Max resolution and max settings make my gpus roar however

    The Sims 3 ran rather well on a Intel Celeron 2.0 GHz and a Intel GMA 4500m (GL40) at low settings 800x600 so i think the Intel HD IGP should run it.
    But a dedicated ATI or Nvidia GPU would til run it better.

    By dedicated GPU i mean something like ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5670 or Nvidia Geforce 330m.
    Intel HD only compares roughly to a Nvidia Geforce 9400m or ATI Mobility HD 4200 performance wise.

    sims 3 shoud run well. It is almost identical to Radeon HD 5450. My desktop has 5450 and sims 3 runs on highest settings with no lag what so ever. Of you want to see benchmarks, look your video card up on the internet and you will probably find this website called Notebookcheck which has fps readings on most video cards, including intel hd.
