    hi
    ok i have a asus laptop that if had xp on would play any game you like but its got vista on i love sims the asus let me install sims but when you go to start the game it crashers i have made the laptop think its running xp but still crashers any help cheers

    weird, I've installed Sims 2 and its expansion sets with no problem and they run pretty well on Vista.
    Did you receive any error messages, if any, show us.

    had no error messages loaded the game from disc
    went to play and just frozze the laptop did it again and put compatibility for xp sp2 and did the same
    ?

    how about right-clicking the icon, then select "run as administrator", see if that does anything...
