i play BF2 in 1920x1080 + HIGH settings in 50-60 fps.....but when it comes to smoke scenes the fps goes down to 10-15 ???? (i know smoke scenes eats really much fps)....but it must be some way to fix this issue inside CCC (catalyst control center).. everything else runs smooth like butter.
can i change some settings or do something ?????
new driver maybe ???????

Yep, try new drivers. However, something I have noticed is that some mobile graphics cards don't handle complex particle effects too well, so you may still experience poor performance during smoke effects.
Also,
Try lowering the Effects, Dynamic Shadows, and Dynamic Lights settings to low. -
well, my (slower) go7900gs handle smoke scenes pretty good, no lag, (still lower fps of course) BUT i think its matter its a DX9 card
you think new driver will fix this...im doubt it (i use 8.603 DELL latest Ati driver)...there is some newer but will it help ?????
anyway. Ati 3670 play BF2 extremely good overall, so its should handle smoke i guess -

If there's an "effects density" or "density" or "particles" setting in graphics, turn it down.
This setting controls the number of particles rendered in smoke/dust effects...
I notice even my 4650 slows in heavy particles, but only if this setting is high. -
Have you applied the 1.5 update to BF2? I'm not sure if they did some optimization or what but that did fix a lot of little anoyances, couldn't hurt.

Also catalyst 9.9 drivers are out.. get those...
