    Hi guys

i just bought a game called sniper elite and it doesnt work on vista home premium 32 or 64 bit. And i researched it a bit and it's something about game security and driver. I was wondering if any you guys know a way round this problem or whether i could do something about it.

    thanks

You have to update StarForce driver. XP version of this driver won't work on Vista.

My recommendation, and I'm being serious - own the retail copy, and download an iso image with stripped security.

I'm sick of both Starforce and Securom, thankfully both are rarely used but both are a real pain. When I installed Star Wars Battlefront 2, some of my others games, which worked perfectly up until that point, stopped working and gave me Securom errors, despite the games in question not even using Securom. Even when you uninstall the offending game, Securom is left installed, same with StarForce. Securom is particular takes considerable effort to get rid of.

I own Sniper Elite, and it's a cracking game, but I do not use the retail disc to install it, just the CD-Key.
