Hmm.......if I can get dedicated VRAM overclocked to 450 MHz, I could match that 1900 score for 3DMark05 probably, and even higher if I have the GPU overclocked too.........gives me hope.

benchmarks are overrated especially since you're not going for a record and using liquid nitrogen

fps, noise, and heat are what matter for laptop video cards

Don't base anything on synthetic benchmarks; they are overrated as rickster said, and overused.

The only way to realistically gauge video performance is to play games. So, play the games you want to play, and if they don't run smooth enough for your tastes, then try overclocking. Keep in mind that even a moderate amount of overclocking will not do a lot on a GeForce Go7400, so do not expect a game that is unplayable to begin with to suddenly become playable. It just won't happen. I don't think you will run into that problem though.

Congratulations on the notebook, I think you will be very happy with your purchase.

The 'world record database' needs to update... with quad core and two 8800gtxs you can get 30,000 in 3dmark06....

Err wait a minute, is that 3dmark05?

    I hate all these 3dmarks...
