    i got GOd OF WAr 2 for a while now and its been going around my friends for a while and it finally came back to me in a terrible mess, but somehow it still plays. I was just wondering if there is any software that i can use to make a copy of this game before it completely stop working cause of its condition.

    Ok, so what you are saying is that your CD was all messed up by your friends? Yes there is software you can use to backup the disk and make a 'legal' copy so long as you do not give it to other people.

    Many people use a program called Alcohol 120%. You can download a 15 day trial, copy the game disk, then create the .iso file (this is the file type for copied disks), burn the .iso on to an empty CD-R, and you are done! You only have a 15 day trial for the program.

    Yeah there is many programs you can use, Alcohol 120% as @StormEffect said, UltraIso, MagicIso etc..There is a lot of freeware software out there like ImgBurn.
