I'm getting a gaming laptop with vista, so does anyone know if you can play older games like starcraft 1?

you might get color issues (like I did)

I had to go into the Compatibility tab and check Disable visual themes and Disable desktop composition to have it work correctly

Starcraft 1 works on my vista computer with no problems. :D
It just looks a little distorted because my comp is widescreen

Yeah the widescreen makes some Blizzard RTS games looks silly, but at least SC runs better on Vista than it did in XP!

I had SO MANY color issues in XP, thankfully they were all solved by disabling visual themes in Vista.

That's good to hear cuz i thought i would have to sacrifice losing SC1 for using vista OS...i think everyone eventually will have to switch to vista...many of the new laptops and PCs have vista pre-installed already
