Have you installed all of the newest patches for the games yet? I'd start there.
-
What kind of laptop do you have and can you give us the specs on it?

I second Vampire's question. Scarface works fine on my PC (see sig) After I install the game then directX. Runs like crap on my laptop on default, have to set it on low setting. It requires X800 or GF6800 graphics card. Love to throw the game away but if I buy a new laptop that would save the problem

yeah all patches fur the game and graphic etc up2date.
1,66ghz pentium M
1gig ram
still over 100gigs hard disc space
mobile intel 915gm/gms, 910gml xpress chipset family -
That seems like a fairly dated system. Do you have a dedicated GPU?
I'm starting to think you don't meet the hardware requirements for the game. -
The 915 is crap. Your video card isn't fast enough to run that game. They recommend a minimum of a Radeon 9200/ GeForce FX5500, and the 915 won't cut it.

hhmmm **** i bought that laptop 2 weeks ago...
for me it was important to work at the pc and surf the net, that game i thought could be a nice bonus
okay, thx dudes! -
Yeah, sorry. Gotta pay attention to the graphics chips if you want to game. You can still play games like Command and Conquer: Generals, older games and such. Just not the new hotness.
starting problems on my laptop
