hi i have asus a6jc with nvidia geforce 7300go and i overlocked it from 350mhz to 450mhz (core only) and temperature raised from 53 in full load to 61 degrees in full load so my question is: is it ok? is there any way how to raise a speed of fan in notebook? (using a riva tuner for exapmle) thank you

61*C is perfectly fine. If it gets 85 - 90*C then you need to be worried.

    Nice overclock.

no way! my laptop freezes at 440!

I OC and temps dont go above 60ish so thats fine. Apparently memory can be Oc'd to 900! Best I get is 860 before artifacts!

    good luck.

:) i just install rivatuner and raise mhz from 350 to 450 for clock click save and play... all work good, i think to try a 500mhz but i better use 450mhz. (cod4 goes with EXTRA textures settings fine (cca 35fps) i have 3gb of ram on 800x600 so i dont need addiditional power so desperatly. but ddram i try from 600mhz to 800 and work fine but i play on 600mhz cause my notebook have no temperature sensor for memory only for graphic card so i cannot to check it :( but 350 -> 450 58*C (maximal 61*C) is fine i think.. thank for yours replyes

Thats a good OC, mine runs at 64*C while surfing, on my desk :(
I'd probably OC a little more for the performance, good luck
