This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     this problem is really bugging me. for some reason, about 50% of the time i will join a server (any server/map, it doesn't matter) and as soon as the "sending client info" goes away and the splash screen for the server pops up it freezes and the sound loops over and over. this will go on forever until i ctrl+alt+del and end task. the odd thing is that when i play the game in "windowed" mode it will not do it. anyone have any suggestions for me? this is very frustrating

    what's your system specs? are you sure that loop repeats over and over? that usually disappears after waiting.
