    the fifa 08 problem in vista?

    any one yet find a solution 4 the fifa slow motion in vista
    i have hp pavilion dv 2860 with nvidia 8400gs .. i wanna say that all the games running in very good way with the max. video options but only fifa 08 and euro 08 slow slow slow???

    the only thing i can suggest is change drivers, use the ones that came with your notebook and not laptopvideo2go one. I had similar problem with another EA Sports game (NBA Live 08) and this solved the problem

    I play both NBA Live 08 and FIFA 08. It seems that a driver would work for only one of the two, NEVER both.

    I broke down and got pro evolution soccer 2008 and kept a driver which plays nba live 2008 well.

    As of now, I have not yet found a solution to fixing both NBA Live 08 and FIFA 08 so they work flawlessly together.

    I hope the 09's wont disappoint.

    meh i play fifa 08 with my 8800gtx no problems here, it must be a driver issue with ur specific card as i don't think the graphics are that demanding

    Follow this thread, it explains everything. As for which driver to use, try the new 177.xx series drivers, It worked for me when I played FIFA 08 (didn't work with NBA Live 08). Plus I it gave me +200 in my 3DMark06 Score.

    i 'm using 174.74 driver with vista 64bit and it works just fine. one complaint is that there is pretty no shaders in this game so the models looks quite edgy

    I re-installed it and played it with 174.74, works perfectly fine, on Vista Ultimate x64! :)
