Crysis, and be prepared to have your system raped.

And what was wrong with Oblivion? I got bored with it, but that was after 80 hours.

it'll definitely play crysis on all very high at 1920x1200 (you prob won't need any AA but 2x might even play well)

it's 2x8800GTX's.... 1 GTX can pretty much play Crysis on all high settings.

COD4 for sure. I think the demo like UT3 was also reduced in terms of quality. The trailer with you as a cloaked sniper or any of the new trailers shows off its true performance. Buying this game on monday. Will have a review up sometime next week!

Good looking graphics don't always mean a demanding game (from a hardware requirements perspective). Some games have beautiful graphics, and aren't too demanding on the system hardware.

Which are you more interested in: a graphically stunning game, or a game that pushes your hardware?

CoD 4 and UT3 are, IMO, the best looking games out there right now. Crysis is also pretty good looking, but in all seriousness 1920x1200, all at maximum is not going to be able to maintain above 30 FPS, and you can forget about anti-aliasing. I base this on a) various reports around the internet about SLI 8800GTXs and Q6600s dying on high, and b) the rig in my signature, which can only push out medium at 1680x1050, no AA. Insanity.

You know, you people with 8800 gfx cards and 4GB ram and fancy quad core processors, must be pissed off that Crysis is raping most of your machines like it's a infant Pentium 2 system..

gotta love technology, so whens the next $3000 dollar upgrade? lolz..

Oh wow, so what that means is that he's extremely rich, or extremely stupid and just handing over thousands of $$ to Nvidia to overclock the card for him... meh... people these days..

Oh and I've seen NOTHING better looking than Crysis, sometimes playing the demo almost feels like your there... until you realize your getting 5fps and have to take away the 1920x1200 rez, and max dx10 settings :\

Guys I think he just wants a game that push his system to the limit to test how good of a rig he's got. I got to say it is pretty damn good and EXPENSIVE.

My desktop rig with a Core2Duo at 2.93GHz and an 8800GTX at 630/2000 plays this game in DX10 with most options on very high except shaders and shadows and I run the game beautifully.

This doesn´t rape my system, the game looks awesome in DX10. You with your dual 8800 Ultra I think will be able to push most options to very high, though I play at 1440x900 my LCD max rez.

But forget about any AA at least in the demo.

By the way people doesn´t have to be rich to buy stuff. I think most people take loans to afford expensive gaming.

    The demo isn't even multi-threaded.

Wait for the final release (Nov. 16) and then we'll see... :p

Honestly, the only game that has taxed my single 8800GTX has been Crysis. UT3 and CoD4 ran without a hitch.

Get Crysis, it will tax your system.

And your system should run Crysis fine, I'd ingore the posts that say you can't.

By the way, ScifiMike, your sig is hilarious, and there is some truth to that. :)

Actually I'm pretty sure the demo (not the Beta, but the new SP Demo) is multithreaded - on my desktop it manages to use up most of both cores all the time. It might be limited to 2 cores, however; I'm not wealthy enough or in enough debt to know otherwise. :p

It actually plays pretty well about 25-30FPS on 1024x768 everything maxed out on my Voodoo...
