I've played almost every map of this game and it's great if you love nature oriented games and huge open world maps. The maps are stunning and the same Apex engine was used on Generation Zero if you played that, but this doesn't have any of those awful cookie cutter "towns" that GenZ had just nature and cabins, caves in some maps etc The base game has 2-4 included maps of 25sq mi each and it has somewhere around 8 total maps of that size so 200sqmi open maps, I think in contrast GTAV is about 30sqmi total.

One note would be that the UI is pretty janky but once you figure it out it works, even with controller as I play it. Another is the abusive DLC policies as you NEED the ATV DLC to get around as the player walks VERY slowly default but there are trainers that have a speed multiplier, some save games on gamecopyworld or elsewhere that give you money and items which would take a lot of playing to get. If you don't like hunting it's a relaxing hiking exploration sim with a camera equip default and has some story missions and side missions with a mix of hunting and rescue etc The best maps are the PNW "lakes", Hirschfelden, Alaska and Siberia IMO
