http://tv.ign.com/articles/892/892584p1.html Jack Thompson still trying to out law all video games(look at the video)
-
Might be better in off topic.
-
though it could go here because it's about somebody who wants to ban gaming to all people
-
Fair enough. Jack Thompson isn't taken very seriously by most though. He's likely going to be permanently disbarred from the Florida Bar.
-
i still can't believe he said that there is a special place in hell for game developers and increasing the cost of the xbox 360 to 250000 and the ps3 to 400000
-
I think there is a Special Place in Hell for him, Gaming is whats keeping peeps from drugs.

Next its TV and movies!
While GTA and similar games are violent, it doesn't really match up with movies like Flags of our Fathers, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List and a slew of lesser movies which take violence beyond anything even the most violent game can match.
Obviously we should ban any movie or TV show with any violent or sexual content because there is no way your child (or any adult even) should ever see that.
It isn't like those same children (or adults) cannot go in their backyard or walk through their own house and see and hear worse in reality.
How could anyone say or even think this?
Where do these hypocritical idiots live?
I am white collar, married, no convictions, and I have seen (and been part of)more violence than I care to ever see again. Sexual situations are about as common as breathing and actual sexual situations make most of these movies look like a nun training video.
Reality is FAR worse and truly much stranger than fiction. -
This is what happens when people don't know what to do with their lives. It reminds me of Hilary when she went against GTA San Andreas because there was a patch to have "coffee breaks" with your gf within the game. This is why there's a rating on games. Anyone under age can't buy them, and if the parents do, it is their responsibility. People need to chill...
there is a special place in hell for you
